At the heart of this update lies a sophisticated reporting endpoint that utilizes specialized SQL queries to streamline data analytics and reporting processes. By aggregating data directly from the database, we've significantly reduced the amount of data transferred, resulting in faster retrieval times and enhanced system performance.

Key Performance Indicators at Your Fingertips

The new Reporting page offers a centralized hub for tracking four essential Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to your bookings:

  1. Total Sales: Gain a comprehensive understanding of your revenue stream by monitoring your total sales figures. This metric provides valuable insights into your overall financial performance.

  2. Total Pets: Stay informed about the number of pets you've served, enabling you to assess demand and plan resources accordingly.

  3. Number of Vouchers Used: Track the utilization of vouchers within your business, allowing you to optimize promotional strategies and measure their effectiveness.

  4. Total Value of Vouchers Used: Gain visibility into the monetary value of redeemed vouchers, helping you analyze the impact of your promotional efforts on revenue.

  3. Optimized Data Transfer: By leveraging advanced SQL queries, we've dramatically reduced the amount of data transferred, resulting in a 96% reduction in data size for a sample dataset of 1562 bookings – from 8MB to approximately 318KB.
